CHAPTER 1 - Firestarter

The Broadband Campfire is a book manuscript from my October 2004 X|Media|Lab conference paper by the same title. The concept material and notes pre-date YouTube's mid-Feb 2005 beta launch. I was encouraged by Dr Robin Petterd and other conference speakers in attendance to expand the material into manuscript form. Robin even sketched this mindmap from Otheredge:
